This beautiful clumping succulent reaches 2'-3' tall and 3'-4' wide. Leaves are thick, gray, 2' long and 3" wide, with a soft terminal spine and backward curving brown spines on margins. Rosettes are 2' tall and wide. It tolerates full to part sun and may be frost tender. It is drought tolerant once it's established. It needs well draining soil. Blooms are infrequent.
Frost tolerant to 25 F. Alto try Agave desmettiana 'variegata' and Agave angustifolia.
