  • Description

  • Notes

This attractive small succulent is great for containers and rock gardens. Leaves are fleshy, bright green densely covered with hairs, forming rosettes, less than 1' across. Color changes to red with winter cold or drought. Red and yellow flowers appear on the tail of red stems which rise 16" tall in spring/summer. This plant tolerates full sun but needs afternoon shade in desert areas. It needs medium watering in spring and summer and much less in winter. It needs well draining soil/frost sensitive.
