  • Description

  • Notes

This small tree or evergreen shrub grows slowly, up to 10'-20' tall. It is a drought tolerant plant. Leaves are small and cluster together. The flowers are inconspicuous but the fruit has characteristic long feathery plumes, up to 2" long. This plant needs full sun; it provides food and shelter for animals.
Planting: 1. Dig a hole 1" less the depth and 2 times the width of the container. 2. Fill hole with water, let soak. 3. Set root ball in hole. 4. Fill hole halfway with native soil and water. 5. Finish back filling hole, build basin and water.
