  • Description

  • Notes

This evergreen shrub or small tree reaches 30 ft. tall, either single or suckering. It is usually found on limestone or neutral soils. It is extremely heat and drought tolerant. This shrub has aromatic leaves and develops small white to pink flowers, with red berries follow. Leaves are vivid red in the fall. Leaves are narrower, more refined and has a more graceful growth habit than the copallina variety to which it is compared.
